Dean’s Circle Scholarship

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences annually awards $1000 Dean’s Circle scholarships to the college’s best and brightest undergraduate students.

An eligible nominee must be an undergraduate student major in Physics. The student must be enrolled full-time (12 hours) and maintain full time enrollment to stay eligible for the scholarship. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.5. Financial need may be considered but is not a requirement. Previous recipients are eligible to apply.

The deadline for the Fall 2008 award is: Monday, February 11, 2008.

Application must be RECEIVED by 5:00 p.m. on the day it is due, and include:

  • General Application APPLY NOW!
  • Transcripts of all relevant work (unofficial copies are acceptable)
  • A one-page typed statement indicating his/her academic goals, why he/she selected the major, and any other pertinent information.
  • A letter of recommendation from a faculty member

Applications (and required materials and letters) received after the above date will not be considered, and a new application must be made for a later year.
