Society of Physics Students
The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a professional physics association for students with an interest in physics. Our members include an array of students in various fields of study, including chemistry, computer science, engineering, geology, math, medicine and more. Members within the association can be elected to join Sigma Pi Sigma, a nationally recognized honor society. Both parts of the organization operate within the American Institute of Physics.
AWIP: Association of Women in Physics
The mission of the Association of Women in Physics is to support women and gender minorities who study physics or related fields by providing a space for them to connect with others like themselves. In the process, we work towards making the physics community more inclusive for all.
